Who we are
Namaste everyone! Welcome to the MeroNepal official page, we hope that together we can support and help achieve a better future for both the kids in Nepal and our friends and family here! A quick intro to our program- we hope to be able to take school supplies, clothing, old textbooks etc., to underdeveloped schools starting in Kathmandu, Nepal and one day hopefully branching out. This is a youth led non-profit organization who hopes to make an impact in the everyday lives of the less fortunate back in Nepal. We are so lucky to be here in this opportunistic country and should definitely use our resources to bring that opportunity to whoever we can! Thank you and we look forward to your support!
Small Steps
As we gather funding, we aim to provide lunches at schools & organizations occasionally. Many children are required to eat Dal Bhat as their main meal. According to the UN World Food Program, more than one-fourth of Nepali children under 5 suffer from malnutrition. We want to provide them with special meals that we love such as momo and samosa. We are fortunate to have connections in Nepal that are willing to help us with small gestures like this
Why us?
We are a group of young leaders aiming to make a change in our society both here and in our homeland, we want to give the future generations of Nepal the same opportunities we’ve been blessed with. We will go the extra mile to ensure our goals are met and that these children are able to fulfill their educational career with every resource possible.
